David Peters L.Ac., LMBT, MSOM will evaluate your condition and recommend a strategy based on your current condition. He has been thoroughly trained in herbology and pharmaceutical drug interactions. Nutritional and Vitamin supplementation may also be a part of your recommended treatment plan.

David has over 14 years experience with Massage Therapy and over 5 years as an acupuncturist. He has been studying herbal medicine for more than ten years and has practiced as an Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Florida for several years. He is well educated holding a Pre-Medicine Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Chemistry. He also earned a Bachelors of Science and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine(ATOM). He has received many awards such as: The President's Award and Outstanding Student of the Year from ATOM. He has studied with some of the finest teachers of Oriental Medicine in the United States, including Dr. Fu Di. He has been on staff at University of Miami Medical School teaching future doctors how to prescribe acupuncture and oriental medicine as a compliment to western care. Dr. Fu Di cowrote San Zhen Therapy (Three Needle Technique), a guide to three point protocols in clinical practice. David also had the distinct honor to learn Gynecology medicine from the president of ATOM Johanna Yen and esteemed colleague Peilan Yao. After finishing his four year course of studies and internship at ATOM, he started a practice in Palm Beach County FL with Family Practice Physician Christine Shim M.D.. He then relocated to the Triangle Area where he worked as a Fertility Specialist providing Acupuncture and Oriental medicine to couple trying to conceive. He has enjoyed an abundance of success providing assistance for patients undegoing IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) and IVF (In-vitro Fertilization). He has worked closely with all of the Reproductive Endocrinology clinics in the area including: North Carolina for Reproductive Medicine, Carolina Conceptions, Duke and UNC Fertility Programs. David loves to compliment western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also specializes in Gastroenterology and Musculoskeletal disorders.
